I had dinner with the family the night we arrived in Hamburg. Nothing special - food was ok and the service very poor and unpleasant.
The worst was the existence of a rat in the dining room. The employees trying to disguise, and the owner with absurd justifications. Complete lack of hygiene and inadequate sanitary conditions to serve the public. I do not understand how the authorities do not inspect and supervise ...

Only had a drink on a lazy Sunday afternoon, but what a lovely little place with lovely beers. Charming

There was a MOUSE running in the restaurant and the staff saw but did nothing!! Absolutely DISGUSTING!
My friend and I were seated next to the bar and kitchen area. Toward the end of the meal, I saw a mouse run out of the kitchen under a cupboard in the restaurant. I AM NOT JOKING. A MOUSE. The staff saw it but did absolutely nothing, even looking up at us, hoping we didn't see it. After paying, I went to the bar to speak to the elderly man there who could speak English (the servers couldn't really speak English). I politely and softly told him that I saw a mouse and that it was under the cupboard. All he replied was 'thank you for telling us.' And just looked at me after that. I kid you not, he did nothing else. After a very long awkward silence he continued and said that the mouse was there every 3 weeks!!!!! And that the city refuses to do anything to get rid of it!!!! WHY WOULD HE BE BLAMING THE CITY IS BEYOND ME. I was appalled!!! I angrily told him that it's not something a customer would expect, especially from a restaurant like theirs. To which he replied 'thank you for telling us.' And just looked at me blankly. At no point did he even try to get rid of the hiding mouse. The cupboard was about 40cm from the tables.
IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO HAVE A MOUSE RUNNING AROUND. The way the staff dealt with the whole situation was truly shocking. I am so disgusted with the place. No one should go there.
