I have visited this place for their Saturday morning breakfast buffet. This buffet is quite nice and has a good price quality rating compared with having a breakfast buffet in a city hotel. The lakeview is great but unfortunately not many seats have this view. Also the staff is quite slow and the buffet refills take quite a long time.

I'd give them 4,5 stars. The food is good, the drinks are tasty and unique (love the chai latte), the prices range from 8-17€ for a meal, which really isn't that expensive for a place with such a view. The service is friendly and very quick - I've only waited 15 minutes on a very busy day when the restaurant was full of people. Recommend this place

If you get the chance to eat here, make sure to sit outside. The view is ultimately what makes the meal, and the food is actually very tasty as well. The pork shnitzel I ordered was very good, and the fries are something that rival even my favorite places back home.
Service wasn't outstanding, but wasn't outright bad either, so I don't necessarily have anything negative to say. I'd ultimately just chalk it up to a very busy atmosphere considering the place was pretty full outside.

Directly at the Alster with great views. It is a big location where you can have a good brunch on Sundays. They also serve lunch or dinner. Food is good, prices not too high, service usually fast and friendly. It can be rather crowded so sometimes need to wait for a table, especially for breakfast.

Don't go there. Plane and simple. Would you like a cake and hot chocolate for yourself and a croissant with fresh orange juice for your girl? Nope, you're not allowed. You are requested to order at least 2 croissants and a cup of tea. Your pregnant girl cannot drink tea? Who cares, you are still requested to buy it. Never seen a place like this, we were forced to leave.
