It's OK. The room had a bad smell from whoever stayed there before us. We let rent desk know and they changed the sheets and duvet, then apologized. We sprayed with Fe breeze from the local supermarket. The toilets and showers were OK. One shower is missing a rubber washer so didn't work.. easy fix but needs doing. Staff friendly. Well equipped common areas. Common TV but only German channels. Room was tiny bit adequate. The u3 underground is right outside the doors and makes access to station / city very easy. It was OK for the price bit I've had better for similar costs.

It sits on a pretty unattractive artery. There's only sparse communal seating in the lobby. There's no internet coverage in the rooms. I think they use instant milk in the coin-operated espresso machines; it's really awful. The Chinese probably can't tell the difference because they don't drink milk. Still it's practically inexcusable. The bunk beds are the cheapest imaginable and the pillows are horrific. It's a Chinese-owned hostel catering primarily to Chinese nationals. The staff is extremely pleasant. That goes a long way I guess. I'm staying another night if that's any measure.

This was a very nice surprise!!! The girls we met at the reception were super nice, friendly, helpful and down to earth. The room was MUCH nicer than I thought it would be, and very clean. The bathrooms are also very clean, and I have very high expectations for cleanliness! If this is what hostels are like, I'm definitely booking a hostel for my next trip instead of an over priced hotel room 😁❤️ I love it here! It is also very close to the subway, which is easy to figure out, even if your first language isn't Dutch or English 😁 Especially with the help of the people who work here 😊😊👍🏼

I stayed at the MAC City Hostel just for one night. The bathroom is clean, whereas showers were pretty dirty but absolutely ok for one very quick shower. Rooms are clean and bright and the staff was really really nice! I recommend it for a short stay.
