The reception is shared with Holiday Inn and the actual rooms are a five minute walk away. Nice breakfast and comfortable beds. Tiny rooms made for sleeping but nothing else.

Rooms were compact and open plan with a toilet and shower cubicle on either side of room by door. Beds were comfortable and towels were provided. WiFi is free and connection was fairly reliable. We couldn’t find the free fitness room in the hotel but the leisure centre in adjoining Holiday Inn was well signposted. That costs €7.50 a day and consists of fitness room, pool and a sauna that opens at 2PM. We didn’t try it but pool didn’t look busy or big. No sign of jacuzzi or hot tub.
Location wise it’s a reasonable distance from city centre. The nearest SBahn station is a brisk 15 minute walk. There is a local bus that stops closer to the hotel but not being a local I would not know what stop to ask for or to get off at. If you had free mobile data you would be able to get bus and track your location.
All in all a functional hotel for a busy stay in Hamburg - sightseeing or business. If you are looking for something more central or with more facilities and more space - probably not the one to go for.

The hotel was clean and tidy bed linen was changed every day but the room in general need some maintenance such as the light over the bed needed fixing and wall paper needed repairing.

Had the cheapest room, the room was good quality. Check in was fast and simple. Only stayed for one night and had to leave before breakfast service started so didn't get to try that.

My partner and I recently stayed here. It was our first trip to hamburg. The staff are friendly, the rooms are what you require for a sight seeing trip. Clean and beds are comfortable. The hotel is away from the main centre but easily accessible... Should we return to hamburg (and I hope we do) we would most certainly stop at the Bridge inn again
