The amount of design can wow you, but it's not a big collection. Big plus is the interactive part of the museum! Explore all the floors engage with the pieces.

Being an industrial designer, I was definitely the target audience for this museum, but I have no doubt any lover of design would enjoy a visit here. There were a surprising number of interactive exhibits, and the textile area was very impressive. Plenty to see for kids and adults—I only wish we had been able to spend more time there.

Don't waste €8 on the entry fee. Although big, the items on show are quite lame. Some of the items are literally garbage, while others only figuratively. I think I was only impressed with one or two pieces in the entire museum. Your time will be better spent walking around in the wonderful city of Gent.

Surprisingly large museum spread over several floors. The textiles exhibition that we saw has several interactive sections, which was novel, and information was provided in English as well as other languages. Well worth a visit if you're in Ghent.
