The hotel is very nice and the staff is welcoming. At firt we got a room with mold and ask to change.. The second room also had mold! In the end we got a very nice room without mold (we got upgraded) but we had to insist on it.

Good location and clean room. What more do you want. Price was not that bad also. Construction going on around the hotel so it can be a bit noisy. They have earplugs for you in the room though. Would definately recommend this hotel because of its location

Service was excellent and the staff super friendly. They attended to our needs and offered me and my friends another room when our room was being affected by the smell from construction in front of the hotel. A++.
Location is close to the beach which is a great plus and there are a few restaurants close by that the ALANA staff recommended which were pretty good. Massages felt great too and at a good price. Great experience overall, would definitely come back again!

Very nice hotel with large rooms and a nice swimming pool. Breakfast is good although quite busy. The noise is however extremely loud at night and the room never seems to get very dark which makes sleeping difficult. They provide earplugs as they are aware of the problem but these do little to help.

The good, this hotel is new, clean and affordable. There are plenty of small stores and places to eat around the area. Staff was nice and I had no major issues directly with the hotel. The bad, beware of a bar nearby that is annoyingly loud. Sounds echo between all the buildings right into your hotel room. The breakfast buffet here is not good. The food tastes old / not fresh. Also their fresh coffee is horrible. The free instant coffee packets served in the rooms are better.
Other facts, The ocean views are severely limited now due to a new hotel next-door. And this includes the view from the top floor pool. There is just a tiny amount of ocean view from anywhere in the building. Construction is slowed at night to limit noise, but during the day it's loud. Short walk to the beach but the road to get there is very busy and not easy to cross. The elevators, there are 3, one you need your key card the other you don't. The last one is for staff. The elevators don't make any sound when they arrive so you have to pay attention or you'll miss it. Overall I might stay again but would probably try another hotel first after dealing with that why not bar the first night till 4am. I'm not sure I suggest the hotel but it's definitely not a bad place. PS the motorbike rental place across the street charges per named day. If you pick up the bike late Monday and drop it off early Wednesday that counts as 3 days.
