Don't be put off by the fact its hidden down two alley ways. The hotel its self is very pleasant and for $17 dollars a night in a capital city is quite a steal for what you get. It was situated very close to shops, ATMs, cafes and surrounded by travel agents. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and are very happy to assist in whatever means is required (including tours). Our room was equipped with two very generous sized double beds a 32 inch LCD television plus tea making facilities and the usual AC. The room felt very spacious and had very modern furnishings. There was free access to desk tops computers and obviously Wifi throughout the hotel. Even though the internet did cut out once, we found this happened quite a lot in Vietnam no matter how much you had paid for accommodation and when it did work the internet was some of the quickest we'd come across on our travels. Although people on other websites complained about the breakfast, i found eating fresh fruit, breads and tea more than enough, plus Asian food was also a choice and the chef was very happy to cook scrambled egg or omelette for anyone who wanted it for free.Overall a very good hotel and would definitely recommend for those wanting an excellent budget option in Hanoi.
