We've been going here over the years, At the Beginning it was very good, but after our recent visit we have to say how disappointed we were.The location and ambience are excellent, we found the service a little pretentious and unfortunately the food was really disappointing - The menu has been the same for the last year or so, but the actual dishes are all different - the food is of low quality considering the price you pay for it- they are really cost cutting for profit now and it really shows - really disappointed because it used to be top notch , but sadly not now -

Winter or summer you can enjoy the lovely waterfront terrace. The service is incredible kind and the food is really tasty.

This upscale boutique caught our eyes because of its beautiful waterside setting. Avoid it! We made reservations for dinner that night as we strolled by. It is EXTREMELY expensive - which we knew from having scanned the menu - but NOT WORTH IT! The worst service in our entire six-week South American trip! The food was OK, but again nothing close to what they are charging for it. One of our entrees was completely wrong, so we had to wait while that was corrected....and that was just one of the screwups. Before dinner, I ordered a bottled beer in the barside patio area, and when the server went to pour it completely wrong (straight into the glass from above), and when I expressed my dissatisfaction, he stomped away in a huff! Others we spoke to in Colonia had had similar experiences. If you go there, go for the view alone......the service and food are abysmal.

I haven't stayed at the hotel yet so this is actually a review of the bar/ restaurant. The patio area is beautiful. The bartenders were great and there was a really nice drink menu. The desserts were really delicious. It was a really nice way to spend a sunny afternoon.
