Convenient for York, close to the Trans Pennine Trail, pleasant locality. Can get busy and some of the regulars on the main caravan area can be a bit loud into the late evening. Lovely little outdoor cafe area.

Friendly site in nice location next to the river. Toilets and facilities are very good for the price. Electricity is on a card operated meter. Site itself is a little tight but nothing that would stop you from being there. It's really a boat yard with a caravan site added by the look of it so don't expect landscaping and flower beds but there is of course a natural beauty about the site as it is surrounded by mature trees and of course the river.
