This is a proper 'local'. Great friendly staff who know all the regulars and what they drink. Many large screens playing as much football as is required to satisfy any footy mad patrons needs. Rugby also screened often when big games are on. If you want a fancy wine bar or a quiet place to have a private chat this isn't the place for you, if however you want a pint in a pub with good staff and good atmosphere drop In to the 'oby' as it's known to the locals. Seating outaide which is handy in the summer months. Pub has a pool table and fruit machines for some classic pub entertainment. Have to mention, to avoid disappointment (in case you like a meal with your pint), the only downfall being lack of food being served.
