The staff is exceptional, great breakfast buffet, and well equipped gym. Only complaint is that the rooms aren't as business friendly as other hotels I've stayed in (no USB ports and minimal electrical outlets).

Fantastic stay from start to finish. Super friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Lovely big family room with two double beds. Spotlessly clean. Great pool and gym, reasonably sized for a hotel and enough up to date equipment for a good workout. Great breakfast including a chef on duty for fresh omelettes to order in addition to cereals, fruit, pastries and a full English. Very highly recommend.
Fantastic stay from start to finish. Super friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Lovely big family room with two double beds. Spotlessly clean. Great pool and gym, reasonably sized for a hotel and enough up to date equipment for a good workout. Great breakfast including a chef on duty for fresh omelettes to order in addition to cereals, fruit, pastries and a full English. Very highly recommend.

Parking is available but there is a charge which is disappointing. The building exterior is lovely and the wooden revolving door entrance is fabulous. The room was functional and clean and was in keeping with the age and style of the overall building. Perhaps some looking for a modern experience will be left underwhelmed. The bar is lovely with a diner layout as well as some cosy areas. Restaurant area is functional and shares a limited menu with the bar. Staff all friendly and helpful. Spa available but not used with a lovely indoor pool and steam room, etc. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice including an omelette station.

I loved this hotel we had access to the jacuzzi and steam room and the swimming pool which we loved. The bar prices were not to bad. The room was lovely and it came complete with air conditioning you could turn it cold or hot depending upon your preference I can't comment on the meals as we went to a weatherspoons pub which was a ten minute walk from the hotel. The only thing that bothered me was the rats near the under pass on the walk to the pub. You would think that something would be done about it. But this has nothing to do with the hotel itself. Lovely hotel would use the Marriott again.
