A disappointment for the most part
Poorly indicated on google map, one needs to enter the address of the hotel in which itself is located in order to end in the right place on the one way system.
I had booked a manicure and pedicure in what seemed to be a professional spa.and was this surprised to be asked to.pay for my treatments before having them.
The pedicure turned out the be a nightmare, and I guess this why they asked for payment before "the experience". I was asked to sit at the end of a bed and put my feet in a plastic container on the floor. Unfortunately I could barely reach it as the bed was not low enough. The space was inappropriate for a pedicure and I was regularly asked to move in order make the therapist's job easier. I spent an hour with her not smiling once and trying lead the conversation onto something she would enjoy so to releave the tension in the room. I was then asked to carry all my belongings and walk barefooted in to the relaxation room where the next therapist would "come get me". Relaxation that i needed indeed having left the first room depressed and with a back pain.
The set up of the second room was exactly the same as the first room, which is to say appropriate for massages and waxing and absolutely inappropriate for manicure or pedicures. Which means that we were sat across a raised bed wirh me stretched to reach my therapist. Although the set up was totally inappropriate and uncomfortable and they only had a dozen polish colours to choose from in the entire spa the second therapist was wonderful.
Professional, friendly, welcoming and clearly and expert.
Overall I would recommend not using this location for a mani/pedi, maybe their massages are good? However if the second therapist sets up somewhere else i would miat certainly make a booking every time I will be in town.

Great spa facilities and i enjoyed every second of the relaxation techniques applied to create the right atomoshere.

I visited the Urban rooms on January 14th 2016 with a friend for a spa day. We have now had several visits to this spa. It is always excellent especially the facials and shoulder and neck massages. Jo was particular helpful with her advice re skin products and she made me feel totally relaxed. The staff here over the years have always been very friendly and professional. I have recommended this Spa to my work colleagues.

The Urban Rooms was a fabulous environment to relax. The staff were very welcoming and professional and I would recommend to anybody after a nice relaxing morning or afternoon.
They offer a wide range of treatments at very good prices also, I would defiantly recommend a back and neck massage as it's a great way to de-stress after a long week at work :-)
