A hidden secret of Gloucestershire. I've eaten here twice and both times we excellent and the staff very obliging especially at the funeral wake.
Great selection of drinks and food all kept and presented in excellent condition
In this Historic Inn in centre of Frocester. My most recent visit last Monday was for A New club using The Coach House and it was an excellent venue lovely and warm on a typical dark winter evening. ... the other facilities were as before

Wonderful, spacious room with quality bathroom. Nice, quiet location. Great breakfast. Will definitely be staying again. Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

If you would like the best Sunday roast anywhere in Gloucestershire then the George is that place.
We have several local favorite places to eat, but the George does the best roast by a big margin.
Egypt mill is a favorite, The Badger is brill, but trust me, The George is your Sunday roast best.

Very good value, good food, good beer and good service. What else need I say. Won't hesitate to return, the only let down was I left my doggie knapkin on our table :-)

If you set your expectations to an above average, larger than average, village pub then you will be well satisfied.
We had a good Sunday roast, a satisfying full English on the back of an overnight stay in a perfectly OK room. It was a large room, but it was not a junior suite. It was worth £90, it wasn't worth £140. The food however is worth the asking price.
The staff were more than helpful.
All in all a pleasant experience.
