Very poor ,food service terrible, large group and food arrived intermittently after long delays,some meals missing,food that was served was very over cooked,prawns inedible, salmon so over cooked its was dry, sea bass fillet arrived as a full fish ,again over cooked . Tagliatelle with scallops, were was the cream,asparagus and tomatoes??had to add my side of garlic mushrooms with cheese(which was served 20 mins before main,and was over cooked) just to add flavour! Absolute shambles sorry to say. 20% nhs staff discount?eventually received a 10 %. Loads more I could complain about, but seriously haven't got time! But....soup was lovely!

I spent a very productive afternoon in the Lion, getting on with work (fast wifi!), and being supplied with great coffee. There's parking outside too, so if you're after a (near) city place to get on with work during the day, this comes highly recommended.
