Waited for ever for food, tables were dirty, forst forgot the additional scampi, had to find a waiter to tell,in between realised the steak that was ordered medium rare was medium well done, arrived arrived 10 mins later and then the steak was taken away and about 15 mins a frezh one was brought to us......

Slow bar staff, but exceptionally fast food delivery! So fast that the starters & mains all arrived before the cutlery! Tried to scoff the starters fast as our mains were cooling on the table, but gave up! 😤😤😤 don’t usually give reviews, let alone bad ones but there’s always the exception!

They done the place up quite well, but a place can look lovely but the staff there make it enjoyable and homely and entertaining. This was definitely not the case. Girl behind the bar looked like she swallowed a wasp, she looked that miserable, it's hospitailty. Put on a smile. And the place looked some what chaotic management wise at night. And completely understaffed. Maybe invest in a new team.

Looks good since the refurbisment. Staff are friendly and professional. Went in for a quick pint a few weeks ago, and ended up staying for a few more and a meal. Gentleman on the floor happy to bring the pints up to the table. Nice touch. Good atmosphere. Food was quick and well presented. Place ticks all the boxes. Recommended.
