Beware of the small print folks!! Felt like I was conned on our visit!
My finance and I had booked a massage each totalling £174.00 as a birthday treat. We arrived early to use the facilities beforehand. On the confirmation email, it stated the following:
'Access to the Thermal Experience is available complimentary to guests who have booked treatments over £134.00 Monday –Thursday and £174.00 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Guests booked for treatments, who do not quilify fo compilmentary access may purchase a Thermal Experience Add On pass for £23.00 Monday – Thursday, or £47.00 Friday, Saturday and Sunday.'
As our treatments totaled £174.00 I, as the above seems to make out, expected complimentary access to the Thermal Experience. Not the case as I was told at reception desk. The £174.00 is based PER PERSON which is not at all clear on the above details. I raised this with the staff but nothing could be done. I grudgingly paid the £43.00 per person to access the spa but couldn't help but feel like I was duped big time! For £174.00, a person would have to buy something like 3 treatments to get complimentary access!!
The spa itself is lovely and relaxing; great Jacuzzi, pool, water jets, stream room, sauna rooms and we enjoyed our experience including the massages. Food was great although service was a bit slow.
Overall, enjoyable albeit expensively duped!

I had booked a superior suite for our anniversary on 3rd September. I was disappointed. Not only was the room fairly small but twice hotel staff just burst through the door without knocking. The sound system on the TV was stuck on loud and whilst sound throughout the whole would have been a good thing, we could not turn it down.
We had dinner in the hotel and the food was amazing but at breakfast we were again disappointed. We were not offered any toast, juice or water.
In short I will not be staying here again. I found it very disappointing and at £230 per night I expected a lot more

I love this spa because it is by far the best place to go after a long days work. Blythswood spa is relaxing, safe, friendly and the thing I love the most as a women I feel comfortable to walk about without any problems. I am a member of blythswood spa now... this is how much I would recommend to other guests

Gorgeous hotel with spa, a real highlight of any trip to Glasgow. Classy, upmarket, attentive, personable and decadent. The food is sublime and the whole experience an absolute treat. Bravo!
