I really can't fault this place. Nice atmosphere and interior. Great selection of drinks. Great pub food, including the best nachos of my life, and fair prices. Great stuff.

Great pub! Friendly staff, great beers and selection of beveridge and good food. It's informal and feels both historic and quirky. It's cosy in winter and in summer they open up the pontoon so you can sit outside. Highly recommended.

Nice friendly staff and atmosphere with a great selection of beer, whisky and snacks. When the weather is nice it's great to sit outside next to the canal. Highly recommended.

Best place to eat in Edinburgh. Consistent and so tasty, it never disappoints. Love the outdoor space as well, is just amazing and we love it. Staff are relaxed and just leave you to it instead of constant annoying check backs. Food is reasonably priced and portions are big. I take everyone here who cones to visit us, can't recommend highly enough

We've been to Teachers off and on for years including under previous owners. Judging by the workers clothes it is now owned by Innis and Gunns. They have certainly worked on their offer lots of wines, beers and ciders. The food menu is well thought out with a few quirks - haggis nachos - so wrong but so right. The staff are pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. By ordering everything at the bar their can be a queue but the staff rattle through it. Only make minor quibble we had to ask for our table to be cleaned. At the price we were very happy back soon.
