This place has the new room layout and was exceptionally nice having just been redecorated. The attached Beefeater served decent food, and the breakfast was as expected for a premier Inn. This place is walking distance to Arthur's Seat, and only 10 minutes from Portabello Beach, and 10 minutes from Edinburgh centre. A good location to stay.

This Premier Inn is located near a bus stop. In 20 minutes the bus takes you to the centre. The staff is always kind and ready to help you. Breakfast is perfect!! 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everything went like clockwork , no complaints here .
Dinner and breakfast was second to none.
Staff are nice and friendly
But always ask for extra teabags and sugar,sweetener,milk as not enough in rooms imho .

Comfy and clean, but room very warm. Really friendly welcome at reception. Offered upgrade to dinner deal, which we took.
Lovely meal in the Beefeater. Only two things marred the stay. The room was ridiculously warm, and there was nothing we could do about it. Window was already open! TV for some bizarre reason was on the side wall - not on the wall at foot end of the bed where any normal hotel would put it.

Incredibly friendly staff, nice clean room and a nice warm, friendly atmosphere. We had an issue with one meal (starter wasn't prepared) but the manager was extremely nice and gave us our mains for free which I felt was a perfectly reasonable resolution to the only issue we encountered during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel and found the location to be perfect, not too close to the city centre but no more than a £10 taxi fare away, which I thought was ideal. Top marks from me, other Premier inn hotels could learn a thing or two from this branch.
