Quiet for a Saturday - we were pleased. Big screen tv but on silent - quite right. No jukebox - excellent. Most people ish our age, 50s. One lady behind the bar, lovely, solo but genuinely great service. Had macaroni cheese. Delicious but not too quick so didn't seem like a microwave job. We'll definitely go back

Our local eatery is Charwood and I could highly recommend it. Food great and staff friendly. Last week we popped along and it was full so we went to the bar which serves the same menu. Both are worth a visit

Great local bar and restaurant that's worth making an effort to visit. Staff are helpful and service is promt. Busy enough to have atmosphere, quiet enough for a good chat.
On the 11 & 15 bus route. Enjoy!
