Had drinks at Le Monde. While the bar was very busy, the service was still excellent down to the last detail, with our glasses even being chilled with ice before our drinks were poured. All in all yet another wonderful visit.

Where to begin? From the moment we entered the lobby till the moment we left it was fantastic. The ladies behind the desk were friendly and very welcoming. We stayed in the Atlantic room, a water themed room. Fantastic facilities and beautiful room with a fish tank between the bedroom and the bathroom. The hotel is situated nicely in the center of the city, we had a day out at the zoo which was only a 15 minute bus journey and great day out. Would love to come back again!!

Living in Edinburgh I can't say I've ever stayed at the hotel. However the bar is supurb, one of the classier bars I've been to in Edinburgh and with it being situated on George Street and some what near West end, it's got some fierce competition.
Cocktails are spot on as well as the level of service and decor.

We stayed in the Casablanca suite on the 2nd floor. Room was fantastic! Really large suite with plenty of lounge area away from the bed. The bed was very comfortable, and we liked that the lighting controls for the room were on either side of the bed as well as placed around the room. The lights for the suite and bathroom had different dim settings which was great because the lights could be turned down a little lower for a nice hot bath. Bathroom was spacious as well and also featured a great standing rain shower. Slippers, robes, and a set of shampoo and conditioner was set out waiting for us. All in all we really enjoyed our short stay and would totally book it again. If there were any negatives to list, they were that one of the blinds wouldn't close and may have been in need of repair, the view wasn't great from this particular room, and the TV was perhaps a bit on the small side for viewing from the bed. For us, all of the negatives were pretty minor.

The room was unique, fun and huge! The staff was very helpful while we were there. Even going out of their way to help us recover a lost bag.
