My 2 cats and 2 dogs staid here for 2wks over the summer. 3 of them have never been in a cattery /kennels before. I was really pleased with the way my furballs were looked after.
One of my dogs, is very timid and found he couldn't cope. The lady tried everything to make him comfortable and eat but the little monkey refused. Instead of sticking it out to make her money, the lady phoned my sister to come and get him. My sister who picked him up was impressed on how the situation was dealt with. Thankyou for being so caring. The other 3 that staid came home well fed and in good condition. One of which is on a special diet.
I have used hillway on several occasions, when ever I've been away, which isn't every year and I am always pleased with the way they are cared for.
The only criticism I have is that the place could do with a bit of a spruce up as it's starting to look tired which is why I only put 4.
Top marks for the care of my precious pets and will be seeing you next time I go away.

Chris and the team have looked after my two cats many times over the years; They always come back happy and healthy and there is never any problem if they need special food or medication. The staff are very professional and obviously care about the animals they look after. The kennels have a covered but open area and then an enclosed area at the back so the cats can choose if they want to sit watching the fish or sleep in their beds. Boths areas have always been clean and tidy whenever i have dropped them off or picked them up. We always take time to say hello to the other cats and they all seem happy and healthy too; It always seems busy so i take this as a sign that it's popular and others are also pleased with the service and happy to leave their pets in Chris' care too.

Kennels are good and clean we have used this kennels a few times but have been badly let down this time. As always we booked our dog in for our next holiday well in advance and was told all was fine. About ten days before departure I checked to make sure all was ok even though we were told there was no need. Good job I did check as they had no record of the booking and said they could find no card relating to the booking for our dog. In this day and age I would have thought the booking would be recorded on computer and backed up, not on a card that could be lost. The attitude of the staff and owner was rubbish, they were not interested in the slightest and did not even apologise, in fact someone in the background was heard to say "we only have his word for it". What a disgusting attitude for a business to have, they obviously don't need the custom. I was told "well yours is the only card missing" god knows what that is supposed to mean. Absolutely terrible attitude.

Excellent kennels - best I've been to! Staff really care about the pets in their care and treat the humans well too!
