No issues with the food, drink or staff as always, but service here is slow. It always has been. Be prepared to wait a good 30-45mins for your mains!

Shown to a table, waited 20 minutes. Tried unsuccessfully to get the attention of of a server. Although we had been given menus no one bothered to even ask if we wanted a drink before ordering food, let alone return to take our orders. We considered going to find a member of staff but decided we didn't want to wait an hour for food. Walked out after 25 minutes and went elsewhere.

My wife and I came here on a lovely sunny day, one of the advantages of this restaurant is it's rear garden which could be very nice. Unfortunately the tables,chairs and other fixtures are so poorly maintained it felt like a health hazard eating here! We asked the waitress to at least clean our table, she came back with a dry cloth, gave it a quick rub and left, it really felt like we were asking her to do something over & above! We had no option but to move inside. Sadly our problems did not end there, the floor inside was disgusting, cobwebs and dust/dirt everywhere, too late to walk away as the food finally arrived (very slow service with what appeared to be just 3 members of staff for a large, busy restaurant) and the food was luke warm and pretty poor. A complaint to what I think was the manager just resulted in a shrug and a claim that "it's not his fault" All in all a terrible experience and not a mistake I intend to make twice.

Can't fault this really. Wonderful walled courtyard that almost transports you to the south of France. Good steak, good burger, great garlic bread to start. Good service too.
Only downside is that my steak would've cost £22 (added spinach) and I wouldn't have been happy paying this much had I not had vouchers.
