I usually always go to the Oldland branch, which has always been very good but I visited Longwell green on Wed 23rd August at 6.30pm. They appeared to be training a new member of staff and spending a lot of time correcting mistakes. I ordered the fish 'bubbles' or 'bites' which have to be cooked to order, I am fine with waiting for these and could see they were busy. However when I got home the fish bubbles were HUGE, almost twice the size they are usually and completely undercooked and soggy and totally inedible - I'm 5 months pregnant and not risking food poisoning so they had to go in the bin. Disappointing!

On a busy Saturday (22.7.17) 7.15pm we have been served up 3 beautifully white fleshed cod and perfectly fried chips! A credit to the staff on duty!

I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE A GREAT BIG SHOUT OUT TO OLDFIELDS LONGWELL GREEN, FOR THE FABULOUS FISH AND CHIPS THEY PROVIDED FOR MY DAUGHTERS WEDDING ON SATURDAY. THE ORDER WAS DELIVERED PIPING HOT, ON TIME AND COMPLETELY ACCURATE. EVERYBODY ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!!!!! THANKS AGAIN
