Absolutely appalling, not the Myristica I experienced when it was located in King street. The only food that was acceptable was the poppdoms and rice. The rest of it was sickly and quite vile. Which is how I ended up as did my friend. We both were attached to the loo all night after our meal. In addition to that the waiter reaked of cigarettes, not conducive to eating. I have eaten a lot of curry in my time and was one of my favourite foods, not sure after this I can face it again.

We were quite a large group and ordered various items across the menu. My seabass was fried (lack of proper cooking?) and very salty, someone had very dry lamb chops, someone had very dry vension... the taste was fine and we enjoyed the poppadoms and te rabbit starter but thats about all

They say first impressions count, well Myristica didn't disappoint. From the helpful and friendly staff to the amazing quality of the food. I love Indian food and this was by far the best I've ever had. Would highly recommend this place to everyone wanting a totally unique Indian dining experience. 5 Stars doesn't seem enough. Will be visiting again very soon

The food was amazing and service was good but not great. They quickly rearranged tables to get us a table for two very quickly despite it being a busy weekend evening with no prior booking. However, there was a fairly long wait for mains, but definitely worth it in the end.
The downside was this place could use the services of a good handyman to fix the holes in the walls/ceilings. Although this is a relatively petty comment, the prices here are significantly more than what you normally pay for Indian food and whilst the food is worth it, when you pay those prices you expect the environment to match.
All in all, I'll definitely be returning whenever I'm in that neck of the woods!
