Comfortable hotel with clean warm rooms, pleasent staff and good range of choice on food. Reasonably priced and close to the motorway exit.

Booked this hotel at last minute due to delays on the motorway, the hotel was easy to find in what seemed a industrial park but was quite, the hotel had a large car park with automatic barriers over the entrance, once inside the hotel it looked clean and well presented.
The check in was easy they also gave us a free WiFi pass, Registering the car for the car park was quick and straightforward.
The room was tidy and smelled clean the toilet and bathroom looked dated and could do with a refresh.
The bed was softer than what you would get In a travel lodge but we had a good night's sleep on it and felt refreshed in the morning.

Very functional rooms with good meeting spaces. Good for a conference or meeting event on a budget. The rooms were decent although everything was a little bit run down. The separate shower and toilet in the rooms was a bit bizzare and inconvenient.

On arrival, the room itself smelled of stale cigarettes and seemed unclean in general. Stepped into the bathtub only to find a dirty razor covered in hair which had been left by the previous guests. Nice to know the shower area hadn't been cleaned after stepping into it in bare feet!
Also, after accidentally oversleeping my checkout time this morning, I was more than happy to pay the late checkout fee.
However, just 15 mins post checkout time, I was yelled at outside room by a bad-tempered receptionist who in fact didn't even happen to hear me asking her to "come in" as she was hammering on the door that furiously.
During a long unnecessary rant, she almost threatened, "Well you do know that you're gonna have to pay the late checkout fee now don't you!" to which I replied, "Sure. Just charge the card?" .. lol
Checked out an hour later to allow this member of staff to calm her nerves.
Better ways to speak to paying guests. Genuine mistake. No need.

Don't be deceived by the look from the outside of this hotel. Once inside you will see it is lovely and clean, great facilities for the price. Lovely food and very friendly staff.
