This is the best Chinese place I've been too. The food is fresh everytime I go. It has never once failed. And the customer service is also great too. One time I forgot to draw cash out the bank and as they don't accept card they allowed to pay the following day. Can't recommend them enough

This is a Chinese Fish and Chips takeaway place; they sell a wide selection of Chinese takeaway food and are not solely dedicated to serving fish and chips; a fact not made clear either on Google Maps or from the sign outside of the shop.
I was however pleasantly surprised with my portion of fish, chips and mushy peas for a very reasonable £5.10. Although I wanted cod, the sign merely says a non-specific fish and chips. They are therefore not misleading in any way and the fish itself was actually of high quslity. My only criticism is that the batter was soggy and not crispy as expected. Hence the 4 stars.
Fish is cooked to order and is prepared to high standards. Inside the waiting area, you can see into the back kitchen and it looks very clean. There were at least three people preparing and cooking the food. The chips were clearly hand cut from fresh potatoes and not cheap frozen chips.
Chinese takeaways which also sell fish and chips can be hit and miss as they tend to sell the fish and chips as a side product to appeal to a larger market and thus the quality is usually lacking. Thus is not the case here. The food was cooked to a high standard and it tasted good. The portion size was reasonable too although more chips would have been good.
Overall, a positive experience and I would buy fish and chips from here again.
