A long standing Moseley restaurant that has lived up to the test of time through it's admirable reputation. Booking on busy nights is probably advised. The food is good to excellent traditional Italian, but the service although friendly can be a little slow if very busy. My recommendation is the monkfish in a creamy tomato sauce with pasta.
The interior is tasteful, relaxed and comfortable. Sit back and enjoy the show is my advice and stock up with your favourite tipple as the restaurant - surpringly - isn't licenced. There are a couple of off licences nearby.

A pretend Italian restaurant. A real Italian serves alcohol and doesn't serve halal meat. The waitress (who I think might have been Malaysian) had no idea what was on the menu so we had to show her what we wanted. The food arrived in stages with some still waiting well after others had been served. My starter had been microwaved to within an inch of its life and was so hot it would burn your mouth out and had no flavour. Most of the six of us felt the food wasn't freshly made. The place was heaving and is obviously very popular but the service needs to be able to cope with such busy periods and on the evidence we saw it simply can't.

The finest Italian food in Birmingham. Located in Moseley Village, this is a great place to eat and spend time. It's like being at home, with perfect food and service provided as standard. The fillet steak is heavenly! x

I had a very upsetting and disrespectful evening when I went to this restaurant with my friend. The manager is a cocky, arrogant little man. Not once did he come over and to see if we were okay with the meal and because of that we unfortunately had to call him over for various things that we needed which was strange because we saw him tend to the needs of other customers all smiley and giggly but once he came over to us, it felt like he just wanted us to quickly eat and leave. It was just him waiting on tables meaning they were clearly short staffed. I don't ask much for when I spend my hard earned money on a meal which is not cheap. All we wanted, my friend and I, was to enjoy some good food with welcoming faces. I genuinely felt upset. It's hard to explain what I felt, but it wasnt kind. The atmosphere and vibe wasn't right at all for us. I guess the restaurant value a table of 7 more than they do for two people trying to have a mellow, nice time.
