Stunning place for breakfast. Simply must do. Service was impeccable, delicious food and the most luxurious toilets I've ever seen!

We attended today for dinner in the great room. I wasn't aware that we had to eat from the early bird. I ordered ravioli and steak, my hubby had stuffed courgette and pasta. The portion sizes were appalling! The stuffed courgette had 1 mini courgette ( about 5cm long) and 2 halfs of tomato, the pasta was literally 2 tablespoons of pasta! My ravioli had 1 piece in a sauce and the steak was cooked medium rare and tough as old boots! The bill.......£95! We will never be back!

Absolutely amazing, stayed here for our wedding night. The art deco room we stayed in was beautiful, the bathroom was insane, beautiful roll top bath! The staff were so helpful. Couldn't recommend it more. Will definitely be back!

The merchant is a very beautiful hotel with amazingly attentive staff. The hotel itself is in an ideal location within the cathedral quarter Belfast. The bars that surround are fantastic also which cater to all on a night out. I haven't stayed at the hotel before but have been there a few times to view events rooms within it for my upcoming wedding. The bed rooms that I have seen are very nice and I cannot wait to stay there. The wedding planner that we have who works for the merchant is amazing. We couldn't ask for a nicer person to help us plan our wedding.
