Nice pub. Good service.
Nowhere for drinkers to sit as all tables reserved for lunch.
I don't know how good the food is, but £5.50 for French onion soup is over the top for a pub.
Drinks are not cheap either £4.70 for a Morretti and £2.90 for a juice.
Probably one to avoid

We had lunch on a Bank Holiday Monday because the Hare & Hounds was fully booked. In contrast, The Blathwayt was quiet so there wasn't much of an atmosphere. Food was decent but not spectacular. I had the fish pie which was just 'ok'. Service was friendly and they were well staffed. Would go again but probably not as a first choice.
