The most wonderful BnB set in a quiet little valley amongst woodland and just next to the river.
We enjoyed staying in the king size room which had an incredibly comfortable bed, on suite bathroom, small TV, tea and coffee making facilities and views out over the smallholdings. Everything was absolutely spotlessly clean and very welcoming with soft cuddly animals on the bed when we arrived.
Breakfast of our choice was included in the price, and a smashing full English was cooked up for us with lots of toast, home made jams and plenty of tea and coffee in the morning.
The delightful couple who run the BnB itself also own the surrounding land which they have built up into a beautiful small holding with ducks, chickens and guineafowl which gives plenty of space for their gorgeous and very friendly little dachshund dog called Midge to run around. There’s plenty of outside decking and a little pond at the bottom of the field with benches and tables around for a cup of tea out in the sun.
There are lovely walks around the surrounding woodland and fields, and its only a short walk to a fantastic indian restaurant and a great country pub.
Great base to use to explore the Wiltshire countryside, we will definitely be coming back to stay again soon, cannot recommend it enough.
