We had a family meal here while visiting Bath. The restaurant is upstairs in a lovely large room with high ornate ceiling The meal was lovely. We each tried something different from the menu and no one was disappointed. The naan's were really tasty too. I understand why some reviewers have complained about the staff being abrupt, we had no problems but they aren't as friendly as I am used to. Overall we would definitely return.

Considerate staff. Good service. Great food cooked well and with originality. Chef willing to explain ingredients with care.

Food quality is average - unlike the authentic Indian food. The service was poor- like we had to ask for water - not served on the table. All vegetables and curries have same flavor. There are better Indian restaurants in bath then the Eastern Eye. My recommendation is to avoid this place.

Delicious food. Defiantly one of the best Indian restaurants in town. Service can be slow but worth the wait. The building is very spacious and comfortable. There are a lot of tables but you don't feel crowded.

Wonderful atmosphere - in a high-ceiling space which used to be a bank; lovely hand-printed walls with Indian motif. Gorgeous and varied curries. Lovely staff that genuinely cares about the restaurant.
