We travelled to Aberdeen for a documentary shoot and were looking for somewhere within short walking distance to the uni. Alba Guest house delivered on all our expectations and MORE! Geraldine and William were very helpful and friendly when I called to book, the room was SUPER CLEAN and spacious (we got the family room with two beds). Really good price. William even let us check in early because we arrived with the train early from London and the room was already prepared. We really appreciated this. Otherwise, the lounge area is also very nice if somebody needs to wait there before checkin or after checkout. The cooked breakfast was very nice and there was plenty of fruits and other things to enjoy on the side. Oh, and as guests, you even get access to a nice kitchen in their next door building (Lilian Cottage) where there is also a fridge if you need to use it or even if you want to cook something simple!
I can't recommend Alba House enough. What a great place to stay and what a great couple who run it.
We would most certainly stay there next time we are in Aberdeen. :)

My office put me up here for a week while working out by the AICC. William and Geraldine were extremely friendly and hospitable, room was clean and comfy, very convenient to get out AICC way and breakfasts were fantastic. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

This was the best bed and breakfast I've stayed at in all of my time in the U.K. and Ireland. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the rooms were nice, the breakfast was delicious, but most importantly the staff were some of the most welcoming, accommodating and friendly people that I've ever met. They really went out of their way to make sure that my stay there was absolutely perfect and to make sure that I had everything that I needed. I would recommend this place to everyone that's passing through Aberdeen, you won't find a friendlier place!
