The meal I had was OK , average I would say. I ordered a chicken dish with a cinnamon garnish. The chicken was rather dry and a bit on the chewy side. The atmosphere was a bit dry as well. It's nice and elegant and the service was good. But I wouldn't come back to it again. I was expecting to see an amazing view of Hagia Sofiya, but that wasn't the case. Hence my three stars. A review from a British traveler.

Matbah Restaurant is amazing. The best Ottoman Cuisine Restaurant in Istanbul. Delicious food. Ambiance is great.
