Warning. Night noise.
While it may be true what others have said about this hotel, especially on Trip Advisor, consider your options carefully before making a reservation. Yes rooms are clean and well presented. The hotel is centrally located and close to restaurants and bars. But consider the disadvantages. Noise from surrounding restaurants of which there are many....but these people disperse by around midnight. Not so the club/bar that is mearly the distance of a narrow pedestrian ally away from guest-room windows, and at the same 2nd floor level. It pumped very loud live music into our room until just short of 2.00am. Ashort interlude of quiet before recorded tracks with a heavy base beat took over only to silence just before the 5.00am call tp prayer at the nearby Mosque.
Although my wife and I had pre paid for a two night stay (which was not to be refundable) we could not wait to get away as soon as we could in the morning and check into another hotel where we were able to catch up on some badly needed sleep.
We consider Hotel Minu to be an excellent choice for the young party crowd. However, others should consider this hotel with caution.
