Royal Suite on the 3rd (top) floors of each block are amazing. Small hotel with only around 50 rooms make it very warm and friendly with the staff doing and everything they can to make your stay one to remember. Excellent buffet breakfast every morning down by the beach with lots of choices that should keep most people happy.
We chose this hotel as an alternative to the Muang Kulaypan after it was closed for refurbishment and have not been disappointed. Although the site footprint is long and narrow leading to the beach they have managed to create a lovely tropical garden feel to place with plenty of trees for shade and running through the of the two rows of rooms.
Would definitely recommend an opulent Royal Suite if your budget will stretch to it, otherwise a room on the 2nd floor will snag you a nice little balcony. Rooms on the ground floor get the least light (lots of trees).
