Very noisy.magnet for teenagers and young noisy guests.no kettle in the room,no phone, not even a glass for drinking water no chairs to sit on.just a sleeping room at high price.so much advertisement all over the hotel.
Wonderful receptionist, sleepy excursion guy at the desk.I won't go there again. There are better options at cheaper price

Nice simple and clean hotel with reasonable price. No frills. The room is equipped with a hair dryer and electric kettle. Only 3-in-1 shower gel shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom and towels, nothing else. Overall the receptionists are friendly and can speak English. Markets are within walking distance and there are many coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

Pleasant Surprise

Usually i choose quirky guesthouses - and rarely a chain hotel - when travelling Thailand and stay off the beaten path. In this case, i had a night in Hat Yai between a 14 hour train from Bangkok and a journey to the Malaysian border. I choose this hotel because it was close to the train station but was totally surprised at how great this is.

A five minute walk from the early morning arrival at the train station, i went to ask to leave my bag until check-in and they instead allowed me to check in (at about 9:30AM) which was great to clean up and regroup after the trip. The room is simple and sorta minimalist zen/hip aesthetic. A comfy bed, end tables with lights (don't have to use glaring overhead) and ... plugs ins outlets all over without having to unplug and move TVs, lamps etc! Little things like this are huge.

The shower had a really good head and pressure and HOT. Room on bathroom counter to spread out. A desk as well which was handy to do paperwork and projects. I didn't turn on TV at all.

The location makes everything walkable (i just strolled cafes and bars) there's lots of shopping around (if that's your thing) but mostly geared to Thais and Malaysians it seems.

They have a fun photo booth in the lobby and also an App (which i just didn't get around to using as i had everything i needed). There's also a tour desk in the lobby but i didn't use that either..

The front desk clerks (who spoke English so i didn't have to stumble with a my bad Thai) helped me get a transport to the bus station. Loved it. Thanks!
