Beautiful hotel. Warm service. Breakfast is all you can eat by order rather than buffet. Very convenient location.

Love this place! Staff treats you like royalty. Rooms have been modernized and shower is amazing. Plus the terrace is a great way to see Bern 360 degrees.

Our room was very nice, Bvlgari products in the bathroom, roof top bar offers views of the city and of the Alps, as long as they decide to open it. The service was good, but not in the top tier of other hotels in Switzerland. Skip the breakfast in Jack's, I found it significantly lacking, only yogurt, juice and bread were available without ordering from the menu.
Our room was very nice, Bvlgari products in the bathroom, roof top bar offers views of the city and of the Alps, as long as they decide to open it. The service was good, but not in the top tier of other hotels in Switzerland. Skip the breakfast in Jack's, I found it significantly lacking, only yogurt, juice and bread were available without ordering from the menu.

Fabulous wedding celebration at the Schweizerhof
The decision to celebrate at this luxurious hotel proved to be the right one in so many ways: They made us an unbeatable offer and their specialized event-management team completely satisfied our needs. They organized everything for us and even implemented last minute changes in no time. Their in-house florist beautifully decorated the ballroom according to our ideas. The media-specialist provided flawless beamers, screens, microphones and loudspeakers. The cook proved to all our guests what it means to be a chef. Everyone loved the delicious food and the skilled waiters managed to serve and fill up our glasses without us noticing that they were even there.
On the SKY Terrace, our guests could get some fresh air between the courses and enjoy the starry sky and the view over peaceful Berne.
The breakfast (in-room) on the next morning was again delicious. You can assort your breakfast from a large variety food and beverages, all freshly made.
Unlike many five star hotels, the staff in the Schweizerhof is not snobbish but a lot like Berne itself: known for its downright sociability & helpfulness and always provides an outstanding service.
The suite is modern but still classy, very clean and offers a lot of space. The same can be said about the Spa. We especially liked the experimental showers and the hammam with the refreshing menthol perfume.
We would like to thank the entire crew at the Schweizerhof who helped making this evening an unforgettable celebration for us.
