Great place for children on a raining day. Fun for adults, too! Lots of interesting displays and interactive information points. Being able to roll the stroller around is a plus for those with small children, as are the many child friendly facilities. Very busy on weekends, though.

Went up there for a quick visit, then the museum just consumed my whole day!
As every good museum of natural history should, there are mammoths, dinosaurs, and blue whales.
In addition to that, they have a wonderful exhibition of the Swedish and Scandinavian wildlife, including the regional water creatures, as well as exhibitions about the human body, human evolution, and climate change.
I had an amazing time and didn't even see all of it.

The IMAX movie about the earth is nice but in my opinion not worth the SEK110, I suggest you enjoy the free entry to the rest of the museum.

The place is a must see for anyone who wants to know more about our planets history. The exebitions are very good and well displayed. They have managed to display everything in an interesting way. They even have the worlds biggest IMAX theatre!
The only thing wrong here is once you've been here, you've seen it all.
But other then that, it's perfect. A must see.

Awesome time with the kids, 2 and 4 years old. Some exhibits were a tad dark though which meant the kids looked more at the bright white information screens, despite the fact that they can't read.
Really nice staff as well.

This was one of the most fun museums I've ever been to! A lot of interesting exhibitions about nature, animals, humans and planet Earth in general. Learn how human body works, see where and how birds travel, take a look at a whale skeleton, meet dinosaurs, even touch a real meteorite! And it's free!
Just one thing: some exhibitions were in Swedish only, it would be nice if those were translated to English as well.
