Well prepared food but the dish was too small. The salads bar needs improvement as well.

Trevlig lunch och god cesarsallad. Rekommenderas varmt under sommaren då man kan sitta och titta på när båtarna slussar

The main course was good but the sallad table was tiny and the place is in need of some renovation at the moment. It was however nice to sit outside and look at boats cruising by.

My family and I experienced a Christmas-style buffet dinner as invited guests at Wendela Hebbe's Restaurant in Södertälje and it was an overwhelming experience.
From the cold specialities (herring and salmon in a variety of preparations) to the warm dishes (with the Swedish meatballs leading the way), everything was a joy for our palate, even flavours which we may not have entirely been accustomed to previously.
I also enjoyed the dessert selection, with nothing too sweet (thanks to the spices that are invariably added to sweet recipes in Scandinavia), just the way I like it.
The setting - a traditional wooden home also hosting a museum dedicated to Swedish writer and first woman journalist Wendela Hebbe - also contributes to creating a fine ambience.
