I am British living in Sri Lanka, and have received osteopathic treatment from any qualified practitioners world wide! I went to this clinic full of hope to try to get some treatment which I could receive in the UK for about £30 - 35, Rs 6725 per visit. I normally only require one visit! On arrival I was given a very basic examination and a basic medical history was taken.
We, my Sri Lankan wife and I were told I would require several treatments on alternate days, number unspecified, at the cost of Rs 15000 per treatment equivalent to £77.00 per treatment.
After looking online at this man's profile he claims he is a Knight Commander of the Commonweath, I could find no trace of this honour, and the nearest to it that I can fined is Knight Commander of the British Empire, but this honour was stopped after 1956 to Sri Lankans following Independence.
His online Biography stated is a qualified Medical Doctor having received his doctorate at Open University! I have never heard of a medical doctor earning a degree at open university.
I have a great deal of respect for all members of the medical profession and also the practitioners of Aurvedic Medicine, thus the reason for my post!
