Excellent food & service. Menu del Dia includes wine, bread & bottled water for 12,90 E. Our entrees were salmon & chicken, the latter was especially good. Nice options other than jamon!

We had ox tail and roasted pork. Delicious but we couldn't finish one dish each with drinks. Pro: restaurant open since 1864, taste good, good service, the apricot wine tasted great to finish the meal! Con: servers English soso, not willing to chat. Costs about 35 euros per person with one main course and a drink.

Nice place to sit outside for dinner in the plaza mayor. Olive and bread is per person. It is good. I had the house salad. It was yummy. She has seafood soup. It was good. Service was ok. They ignored us at times. They asked everyone if they had a reservation even though they had plenty of tables open.

The food was good but the service was slow. I had two bottles of soda before the second course appeared. The suckling pig was good and so was the callos. But with the heat and slow service it was like taking forever , we wanted to get up and leave. The lady staff was pleasant though, bless her soul.

After experiencing a series of outstanding tapas joints in Granada and Sevilla, we visited this restaurant a couple of nights ago with great expectations. However, both food & service was a complete letdown.

Starters (olives & bread) are offered in a routine manner as at most other places, however it's only when receiving the bill you realize they are by no means complimentary. Mention of this is tucked away in fine print on the last page of the menu. Perhaps perusing every line of the menu is a normal practice with most other patrons visiting this fine establishment.

We ordered a plate of croquettes that cost nearly 10 euros, which wouldn't have felt astronomical had it not tasted like an amateur's first plate out of the kitchen.

Our server seemed least interested as he placed the plate we ordered at an edge of the table diametrically opposite to us. Yet, he didn't seem shy in reminding us that tip is not included in the bill. This was literally the first time we were explicitly asked for a tip in Spain on our 14 day trip.

All in all, a complete disappointment.
