Nice staff, fairlt basic but clean rooms. Get a balcony if you can. We spent quite a few ftwrnoons sunbathing on ours..

Very helpful front desk (printing an urgent doc in the middle of the night). Confortable bed and clean spaces. The gym is small but fairly equipped. Breakfast okay (enough choices but far to be for 4* and some items disappear very fast during the morning: e.g. smoked salmon).
The location is fantastic.

While it's a good hotel overall, the lack of adequate air conditioning negates most of the positive aspects of the hotel. EDIT: revised my rating to reflect the fixed AC.

Centrally located in the theater district. Easily accessed from the airport via the metro. Good shopping, food, drink, and coffee options nearby including a three storey mercado with tons of street food options. Room was spacious, newly renovated, and meticulously clean. Not as good as I was hoping for kids as their pool was for the spa, had limited availability times, and for relaxing - not splashing around.

Do it. The hotel has an absolutely awesome spa with about 5 pools of differing temperatures, sauna, steam room etc. Worth staying here just for that - all cities get tiresome and it's a great way to forget the sweaty, noisy, smelly crowds.
Very well located. Rooms are large and airy, comfortable etc. Staff are attentive. Price is mid range - you could stay somewhere more expensive but you'd be cheating yourself out of what this place has to offer. Defo recommended.
