The shared bathroom/toilet badly needs maintenance and cleaning.
Location of hotel is hard to access, especially with heavy luggage. Lots of steps to climb to reach hotel. And if you book a double room, you stay at a separate location which is even harder to access by foot and 10 mins walk away by public transport.
Hard to recommend this hotel.

What a tremendous place, definitely recommended. Beautiful view of nature, people are so nice, such a nice place to relax.

Avoid this place!!! The hostel is run by people who do not care about cleanliness and safety. The toliets and kitchen were a complete mess! Door in my room had no lock, the owner fixed it after 2 days. Complete joke.

As it came up as the cheapest hostel in my search for somewhere to stay in Barcelona, I opted for it but... It's basic, very basic. Some of the electrical systems don't work, there are missing lights in some of the toilets and the shower just pours into the toilet floor meaning if you aren't first into it you have to put up with the floor being wet and dirty from the other users, if i could plan my stay again I'd pay more to stay in a more central location

Simply horrible. I can't give this place less than one star or I would. What you can look forward when staying there. Overpriced small rooms, indifferent staff and stinky bathrooms. That along with dirty areas is what you'll get at Mellow. That is after climbing over a 100 stairs uphill to get this literal hole in a wall. If you got any common sense stay away, don't believe the good reviews. Please listen and never ever consider staying there. You've been warned.
