Clean hotel with good service. Room had a lush patio on the first floor. Five star buffet breakfast. 10-20 minute walk to all major sites. Walls a bit thin but other than that was a great experience.

One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in Europe! The best in experience as far as hotel experiences in the greater Barcelona area! I'll be sure to visit again! Can't wait! Perfect location near everything but still a good enough distance from all the craziness! Highly recommend. Front desk and rest of staff is very professional!

This is a nice-ish property that needs a bit of TLC and an upgrade.
The room size is average for a hotel in n Europe (small by USA standards. The in-room amenities and decor are ok, basic but adequate.
The common areas of the hotel have seen better days and look a bit rundown. They definitely would benefit from some maintenance and upkeep OR an overall update in decor.
Staff was friendly and cordial.
Rooftop pool and bar are nice. Food was average.
Our room had an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. We notified the front desk, they courteously said they would address it, however despite their best efforts , the smell persisted.

After contact fro the hotel I upgraded my review to 4 * from 2* but you need to read the full review.
The hotel is in a fantastic location and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was lovely. So why only 2 stars. When I checked out I had a measly approx. €30 on my account from the two beers and a spirit from the minibar. Yes quite dear but that is not an issue. What the problem was was having paid by cash for the bill I was charged again on my credit card. I am not at all happy abut this and not only that no invoice was forwarded to my email account very annoyed.
After sending an email to the manager, I was pleased and surprised to hear back that he had taken the time to check the video of the desk at the time I checked out and saw me making the payment. It was immediately refunded to my account.
So all in all not too bad but should not have had the issue.

Lovely hotel, very nice building and great location. The breakfast is buffet style with lots of choices, some of which vary day to day (e.g pancakes one day, not another). The balcony rooms are real good, and the rooftop pool is wonderful! The drink service up there is not so good. Definitely worth the money. Interesting thing: they offer TV channels from all over the world, spanning US to Japan, which shows their international clientele. Would definitely stay here again :-)
