3 stars as it's a 3 star hotel with a spa in the side but still a good 3 star. A 4 star hotel wouldn't tell me the kitchen is closed when I ask for a coffee in the afternoon or open the pool 45 minutes late with no towels, with yesterdays drinks still there.
The spa is the real saving grace of this hotel, 3 different temp pools plus a salt water pool a jacuzzi, a wine bath and a steam room followed by a great massage. If they could just not walk around every hour banging bells together.... Ironically next to the silence sign. And the water hose in the steam room is like trying to relax next to Niagara falls.

A little luxury within the old parts of Almeria. The area itself is a bit rundown, but the hotel is outstanding in it's setup and design. The hotel restaurant is worth a visit, with good tapas and wine.

Modern, clean well situated hotel. Exceptional staff. The baths are incredible, the perfect way to relax. Breakfast could be improved though.

Smaller than Aire in Seville. It's more intimate. The staff were helpful, although spoke incredibly rapidly when showing each area. Luckily it's all very obvious. The tea is lovely and there were several rooms: steam room, salt water pool, hot, cold and warm pools and jacuzzi room. The baths have recently been refurbed. They're now working on the hotel.
The only thing that broke the ambience was the noise of the water escaping sometimes... You know, a noisy bathwater down the plug sound!
The massages are for general relaxation, and aren't deep. I could have fallen asleep happily.
