Local de los años 60 o 70 sin reformar. Manteles de cuadros blancos y rojos o azules tradicionales. Ambiente y trato familiar. Gran variedad de arroces elaborados con leña. El arroz con bogavante muy recomendable y el ajo (ali oli) es casero, contundente y con toda seguridad el mejor que he comido. Lugar excelente para ir con niños y celebrar comidas familiares. Sin problemas de aparcamiento.

Casa Filo serves the Best rice dishes in Alicante, and probably one of the Best in the World. Their quality is consistently very high. Seafood, Meat, Fish, Vegetarian, Vegan, Chicken, Mixed,... they do all varieties, and really, really well. I've been coming here for 15 years when I'm Alicante, but they are just getting better. Last weekend I decided to celebrate my birthday in Alicante and ordered rice for 40 people, which was delivered to me in 2 huge Paella Rice Dishes. All 40 people gave a double thumbs for Filo Rice. It was seriously impressive. I have never had such an amazing rice. I went back to enquire how they cooked with such mastery. I was given out some of the secrets which includes a well calibered wood fire, the elaborate cooking process and very high natural produce. Without doubt I recommend you travel to Alicante just to eat at Paella Rice at Casa Filo. I'm not joking.

Typical spanish food. Tapas, salad, paella... Very tasty and good quality. Nice service and atmosphere. Good price, around €20/person. Good for groups, is where the local people used to go. Highly recommended
