What a bizarre place. It's basically an American diner, a bit like TGIF. The staff were friendly to us, and the food was ok - a bit weak but nothing terrible. The portion sizes were a bit small given the Americana theme, which is not necessarily a bad thing for health reasons and they are priced accordingly. Also the wifi was virtually nonexistent (you have to phone up some number to connect...).
However what really stuck with me was the racially upsetting memorabilia that was posted on the walls. There were lots of covers of JET magazine, presumably a US based magazine from the 50s which paints black people as somewhat separate from normal society. I don't know if the staff understand this given that the wording is in English, and perhaps the bigger shame is that such magazines existed at all, but it's sad that they are on display in such a context. I hope they get taken down.

there is too much racism at the door by the security personnel ,africans or rather "blacks" are not allowed in. terrible service.
