I just spent a week in Moscow and stayed at this hotel. Very friendly staff, always willing to help with whatever concerns or problems we had. The breakfast is delicious and very tasty: it has got a whole variety of foods, such as cold cuts, cheeses, cereals, yoghurts, typical Russian breads, vegetables and juices. Rooms are daily cleaned (if requested by the person) and provided with clean towels. I would definitely suggest this hotel to anyone who wants to stay close to the Red Square, i.e. in Downtown Moscow, and does not want to spend a lot of money or is on a tight budget.

Be careful if you choose this hotel, most of the rooms are without a window and the pictures in the web are from their "best room". The room smelt of tobacco even when they claimed that it was not allowed to smoke.
3 out of 4 walls were touching the bed. The breakfast is not included. The location is great though.
It is a very old building with a lack of maintenance and only looks so so because they put some make up on it.
