Food is awful and repetitive, the rooms are dated and the terrace bar leaves a lot to be desired ref; hygiene, the staff were on the whole very good.

A comfortable room with a view. All-inclusive gives you a choose of 2 different restaurants for dinner along with a basic selection of drinks. 3 pools, 2 out door and one indoor. There is a gym but I kept fit by walking up the hill everyday.

This is a lovely hotel great value for money when people complain I really don't know what they expect the food was excellent l have read that some thought the staff were miserable but our experience was that it was the guests that were miserable and ignorant to the staff we found that if you engaged with them even if just a smile or a thank you (obligado) it went a long way and meant a lot to them and we had a lovely relationship with them throughout our stay. It was also nice to be at an hotel that was chilled out not full of rules. The rooms were cleaned everyday by extremely hard working maids I would recommend it to anyone who wasn't a miserable old whinging goat

Nice place to stay, especially on higher levels due to the beautiful view over the Funchal. Hotel with its look and equipment seems to be a little bit old but it's clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

We had a nice time here. The staff was very friendly and kind. On the day we arrived we had some questions and they helped us really good. We both were fine with the room. Not very big, but enough space for 2 people. I was very surprised by the bed. Probably one of the better beds I've slept on. Breakfast was fine. Not really exstensive, but it was okay. Some thing should be taken care of, but over all we were pretty satisfied!
