Nice quiet hotel close to several beaches (~10 minute walk). Lagos Centro is also about 10 minutes by walking. Beds are comfortable, rooms are spread across two buildings. Two pools. Pool and beach towels available. Plenty of free street parking. The included breakfast was very good, with standard continental items and several Portuguese selections. The one drawback I experienced was extremely slow wifi, but at least it was free.

It's a beautiful place and the staff is very friendly. Great breakfast. The wifi mostly did not work and the pillows are extremely high and uncomfortable.

This was our second stay. The first was good. This one not so good. Do not stay in Room 13 or a room nearby. This room is next to an exit door and therefore the coming and goings of other guests especially late at night was noisy and interrupts sleep. It is worth noting that unlike other hotels Dom Manuel does not provide any toiletries apart from a sliver of soap and soap in a dispenser in the shower unit. Only one black tea bag and one green tea bag left in this room and when asked if there was any milk to have with the tea we were told "no". The breakfast looks superb though was carbohydrate and wheat dominated. The scrambled eggs which are kept vaguely warm in a container were swimming in a residue of water. They didn't taste good either.

Perfect room with lovely shower and beds. Very welcoming staff, who go out of their way for you even if your flight is delayed and you arrive at 2am! Great choice at breakfast. Highly recommended. 😊
